Welcome, and thank you for using the Rehab Wealth Project. These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of this website, its calculators, and any account you create. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

I've tried to write these in plain English. If anything is unclear, email me at contact@rehabwealth.com.

1. What the Rehab Wealth Project is

The Rehab Wealth Project provides free financial calculators, articles, and other educational content for therapy and rehabilitation professionals. It's a resource to help you think through student loans, saving, and long-term financial planning.

2. This is education, not financial advice

This is the most important thing on this page.

The calculators and content on this site are for general educational and informational purposes only. They are not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and using the site does not create a professional or advisory relationship between you and the Rehab Wealth Project.

Everyone's situation is different. Before you make a real decision about your loans, your money, or your career, talk to a qualified professional who can review your specific circumstances.

3. About the calculator results

The calculators produce estimates. They are based on the numbers you enter and on simplified models of current federal rules and general financial assumptions.

Real outcomes will differ. Interest rates, tax law, loan-forgiveness programs, and your own circumstances all change over time, and the calculators cannot account for every detail of your situation. I work to keep the calculators accurate and current, but I do not guarantee that any result is correct, complete, or up to date. You are responsible for verifying any number before you rely on it.

4. Your account

Some features — like saving a scenario — require a free account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide an accurate email address, to keep your account reasonably secure, and not to use someone else's account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

You can stop using your account at any time, and you can ask me to delete it and your saved data by emailing contact@rehabwealth.com.

5. Acceptable use

Please use the site in good faith. You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, or republish the calculators or content for commercial use without permission;
  • try to break, overload, hack, or disrupt the site or its security;
  • use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms other users.

The site contains links to third-party websites, including affiliate links to lenders and other companies (see the Affiliate Disclosure for details). When you follow those links, you leave this site and are subject to the other company's terms and privacy practices. The Rehab Wealth Project is not responsible for the content, products, or practices of those companies.

7. Intellectual property

The Rehab Wealth Project name, the calculators, the written content, and the design of this site belong to the Rehab Wealth Project. You are welcome to use the calculators for your own personal financial planning and to share links to the site. You may not copy or reuse the content or tools for your own commercial purposes without written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Rehab Wealth Project and its founder are not liable for any loss or damage that results from your use of — or inability to use — the site or its calculators, including any financial decision you make based on them. The calculators are a starting point for your own thinking, not a substitute for professional advice.

9. Changes

I may update the site, the calculators, or these Terms as the project grows. If I make a significant change to these Terms, I'll update the date at the top of this page and, when it matters, mention it in the newsletter. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

The Rehab Wealth Project is based in South Carolina, United States. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
